The following FAQ should help you understand the basics of what to expect when placing a custom print order with CamelBak. If you need assistance with your order, please contact us at 800.798.7200.

What’s the minimum number of bottles that can be ordered?

We currently require the following order minimums:

  • 72 units for all plastic vessels: eddy, Chute, Podium, eddy Kids.
  • 48 units for laser etching on stainless vessels: Forge, Chute Vacuum Insulated. 

Will I receive a price break based on how many bottles I order?

Yes – we offer price breaks at 144, 540, 1080 & 5040 units. Place a custom print request through this website and one of our Customer Service Representatives will be in touch with pricing. 

What’s the average lead time for an order?

Depending on product availability and order complexity, a custom print order typically takes 30 days from the start of the project to delivery.

Do you offer rush orders?

Yes. We can typically process rush orders. There will be a 30% up-charge for a one day rush and a 15 % up-charge for a three day rush. Pricing will be confirmed by a Customer Service Representative. 

Can I put the same design on different types of bottles?

Absolutely. Additional art setups ($24/color) may apply

Can I get a variety of cap and bottle colors in the same order?

Bottle are sold as complete units so cap and bottle are not interchangeable. That being said, as long as an order meets the 72 units/bottle style a customer may order bottle colors in units of 12.

Do you offer color matching?

Yes. We offer color matching at $20 per matched color. 

How should I submit my artwork, and what format should it be in?

Vector-based graphics are preferrable: PDF, EPS or AI. If you use our online customization tool, it will accept those file types and save them for us to use later when we generate your final print-ready proof. 

How many colors can I put on a print?

We can print a maximum of 7 colors.

Is there a fee for additional colors?

Yes. There is a $0.43 per bottle per color fee. However, the first ink color is always waived.

Can I resell these bottles?

Yes. Please provide you resale certificate at the time of purchase. 

What’s your return policy?

We do not accept returns unless the product is damaged.

When is payment due?

A credit card authorization is required at the time of order approval. The card is not charged in full until the order ships. 

Are there any additional fees?

Freight. Freight is usually 10-15% of the order total. 

What are the shipping options?

We ship UPS, but you are welcome to use your FedEx or UPS account number. 

What are the shipping costs?

Usually 10-15% of the order total.

Do you offer any special services such as placing inserts in the bottles or special packaging?

Yes. Inserts are an additional $0.12 per bottle. Labeling is an additional $0.08 per bottle.

Do you offer any licensed material that I can use with my print?

Not at this time.

What is your warranty policy?

We pride ourselves on our Got Your Bak Lifetime Guarantee. If we build it, we'll bak it. However, due to the nature of custom printing, we cannot replace a specific print. If there is a manufacturing defect with the product, we will do our best to replace parts that have issues, but we cannot recreate the original print you may have purchased.
